Debendra Nath Saikia is a loving husband and a hardworking man who has always been the strength of his family. But over the past year, his life has taken a painful and unexpected turn. For months, Debendra had been suffering from severe throat pain and difficulty swallowing food. What seemed like a minor health issue slowly became worse, until medical tests at the State Cancer Institute Guwahati revealed something devastating.
Debendra was diagnosed with **Hypopharyngeal Cancer — a serious form of throat cancer.
For his family, the diagnosis came as a huge shock.
Doctors have recommended chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to fight the cancer and give Debendra a chance to recover. These treatments are crucial for saving his life, but they come with extremely high medical expenses.
